Read more	Pat Shortt Wins IFTA Award Pat is winner of the IFTA award in the category: Actor in a lead role in a feature film.Pat played the character of Josie in the film Garage which recieved Best Film award, Best Script (Mark O'Halloran) and Best Director of a film (Lenny Abrahamson).It was in recognition of his work in the film Garage that Pat was awarded the IFTA at The 5th Annual Irish Film and Telivision Awards. The other nominees in the category in which Pat won were Gabriel Byrne, Colm Meany, Cillian Murphy and Hugh O'Connor.To recieve the award in a category with such outstanding Irish talent was truly an honour for Pat. It was a great night for everybody involved in the film Garage and was perhaps the most important set of awards for a film that has already won many. On its release in the UK recently, the film has been recieved with excellent reviews.
